The main town on the Caprticorn Coast is Yeppon whihc is 38 km norht of Rockhampton.

Arrival by Air
Qantas and Virgin Blue fly to Rockhampton.

Arrival by train
The Tilt Train runs back to Brisbane every morning to Rockhampton. Then there are trains north to Townsville and Cairns. To Longreach, moving inland, the Spirit of the Outback runs twice a week.

Arrival by bus
Buses operate south to Brisbane , north to Townsville and Cairns and west to Emerald.

By Car
From the South travel up either the Bruce Highway orLeichhardt Highway.
